Make Art Together is a New Project in 2025

Make Art Together is a project that allows vulnerable people to create large, collaborative, freestyle paintings. The goal is to help them achieve their well-being by improving physical, emotional, and mental health through the act of creating images without pressure.

The Nanoom House is located in flushing, NY, a community, rehab center for vulnerable Korean and Dominican immigrants. Residents of this center have limited access to social and art activities due to financial difficulties and mental health issues.

The images below are from two pilot workshops tested with 12 resident participants of The Nanoom House on March 14th and 16th, 2024.
