Community Engaged Participatory Art

These activities were carried out through collaboration with several organizations, including the Korea Art Forum, Minkwon Center for Community Action, NYC Department of Transportation, South Bronx Unite, and 34th Avenue Open Street Coalition.

This project aims to have communities or people with little opportunity to experience art create a collective painting.  My projects literally show painting as an outcome of collective actions completed by many people without pre-arrangements.This process gives concrete shapes to the abstract concepts of democracy and liberty.
